Technologies |
When you use your computer,
odds are you are using a technology developed in Israel.
Intel's Mobility Group, for example, designs and implements
technologies used in notebook computers, phones, and many other devices. Intel
develops several other technologies in Israel as well, including mobile
communication technologies, Wi-Fi, high speed electronics on circuit boards,
communication buses and topologies.
Much of Intel's
development in Israel is centered around the software, including tools for
innovative Wireless LAN devices, research in the design, development, testing
and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical
components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and
cabinetry for central processing units (CPU''s) and/or peripheral equipment.
In fact, much of the entertainment software and
personal communication software people use daily comes from Israel, including
voice mail in phone systems, Skype Internet phone calls, You've Got Pictures on
AOL, Kazaa, ICQ, Metacafe and many more. So, the next time you use your
computer, you now know that you are using technologies developed in Israel.
